Young 23 years-old French girl, I love travelling so much that I decided to study tourism to be able to live of my passion.

I was born and lived for eight years in England, moved to France while I was young and lived for eleven years in the South of France. Wanting to discover a new country, new culture and learn a new language I decided to study in Spain and have been living there for two years and a half.

Recently graduated, I am now looking for a new adventure in a new country. My plan? To go backpacking in Australia!

Justine’s Travel Speak – Travelogue (unedited)

Here is (for the moment) my best trip: ten days around Morocco visiting the “must” places. I discovered the history of imperial cities, the fascinating nature, the Berber towns, the immensity of the desert and the strength of the Atlantic coast! Morocco is an incredible country with many traditions.

This is the tour I did by bus and spending one night in each place.

The City

Chefchaouen, the blue city in the mountains, I totally recommend it! Its blue and white painted streets and the beautiful view on the mountains, is a place of peace and serenity.

Fez and Meknés, two typical cities where you have the feeling to be in the heart of the Moroccan culture with the most ancient Medina. The narrowness of the streets does not allow other means of transport other than donkeys. Strong smells, many noises…all your senses are multiplied in this city which is still the spiritual capital of Morocco.

The Desert

Dreams come true. Sahara, Marruecos 😍 #morocco #sahara #marruecos #maroc #desert #desierto #chameaux

The most life changing experience is discovering the captivating desert! I had the chance to ride camels over the dunes and watch the sunset in the desert before spending the night in a tent in the middle of nowhere. Sleeping in the magic atmosphere of the desert is a memory I’ll never forget. The next day, to discover the desert from a different angle, I did 4×4 and visited nomadic villages.

After the dessert, direction Ouarzazate where there are the Todra Gorges!

After seeing the rural part of the country, let’s discover the urban part starting with Marrakech! Marrackech is the touristic capital and is famous thanks to the Jemma El Fna square which is quite spectacular!

To finish the trip, we stopped by Casablanca to see the the Mosque of Hassan II which is the only one open to public and the second biggest mosque in the world! And obviously Rabat, which is the political capital and a very modern city.

Justine’s Favorite Travel Quote:

Justine says, “Why is this my favorite quote? Because I not only enjoy travelling and visiting new places, but I also think it’s important to actually live in different places. It is so enriching!”

“Travel. As much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.” – Unknown
